Part 1 (about 27 min.) introduces an inspector’s preliminary responsibilities: document review, coordination with the public, field review, equipment checks, planning traffic control, meeting weather requirements, and inspecting the tack coat application. Part 2 (19 min.) covers mix delivery, placement, compaction, and transverse joint construction. Part 3 (14 min.) gives examples of problems that can occur in mix design, paving, and compaction, and suggests some solutions. Metric units are used throughout the video.
